Oncology Nurses & Grateful Hearts

Yesterday  we woke to a brilliant surprise! One of our cards had been featured again on Buzzfeed! It spurred a bunch of orders (thank you!!) and made for a fun and busy day watching all that happen.

However, on other mornings (like today) we woke up to literal $h*t on the carpet. Many thanks Daisy-dog. Many thanks…

Immediately after cleaning all that up, my phone dings with a message from an oncology nurse from halfway across the country. She ordered a bunch of our chemo cards that she is giving to her patients as they go through chemo and for when they finish chemo.

Cue. The. Flowing. Tears. Oh my goodness, there are so many good people out there.

My heart is full with so much gratefulness for oncology nurses all over the country and the amazing care they give and have given to us. The nurses that cared for me and administered chemo every week are absolutely wonderful souls who will always hold such a special place in my heart. And for all nurses everywhere who do the un-fun jobs in taking care of us and our loved ones.

Today I choose to be unbelievably grateful and appreciative for all of the wonderful people all over the world. Those with big hearts who care so deeply. Those who go above and beyond their job descriptions to care for people.

And even more grateful that I have a job, where every so often, I actually get to cry tears of joy and appreciation because something I/we created is bringing joy to others in such a personal way.

Just in case you didn’t know… I absolutely love the shit out of all of you!

Much love,
